Our Little Acorns 2 year old provision allows children to explore freely promoting their independence and imagination in a happy and safe environment .
The room provides sand, water, paint and craft activities as well as a role play area and small world. There is a comfy book corner which has a quiet area where the children can relax and have a rest if needed.
Story time and song time are part of our daily routine to develop the children’s communication and listening skills. Planned activities throughout the week see that the children’s individual needs are met and their interests are followed .There is all weather access to outside play either on the terrace or grass area. We are also fortunate to have the use of the woodland area on the school premises where we can also go and explore.
Each day the children have a snack time which plays a big part in developing their personal and social skills from an early age.
Each child has a Tapestry journal where you can keep up to date with what your child’s been doing while attending the sessions.
