Welcome to Lime Class (Year 3). In Year 3 we are friendly, kind and always eager to learn. At Maryport CE Primary School our Christian values are integral to all our daily lives, how we teach and what our children learn. In Lime Class we understand that effort is the key to success. Together we make a great team. We enjoy reading and we look forward to achieving our half termly treat for reading at home, three times per week (every week).

We have lots of exciting topics planned this year. At the moment, the majority of our lessons are linked to the theme of our current topic, 'Beyond the Magic Kingdom: what is the Sunshine State really like?’. We are learning all about the physical and human geographical features of a region in North America. To start our topic we had an exciting circus workshop delivered in school. We are also learning about forces and magnets in Science and we are enjoying carrying out investigations! ‘Leon and the Place Between’ by Angela McAllister is our current class novel. We look forward to reading this regularly.
